Competitive Figure Skating Program and Private Lessons

Our competitive Figure Skating Program is designed for skaters who are ready to take their skating to the next level from our Learn to Skate Program and our Young Champions on Ice Program.  The skater will skate on freestyle sessions that are specific for their skating level and they will also be taking private lessons from one of our professional skating instructors.  To meet our staff coaches, please visit the link at the bottom of the page.

The Ice Centre offers an extensive schedule of freestyle sessions that can accommodate beginner skaters new to our competitive program all the way up to national level skaters.  For a schedule of our Figure Skating ice times, please select the link below for our current schedule.  Please note that on the deleted days, we offer different ice times other than our regular scheduled sessions, so please call the Ice Centre for the adjusted session times.  Payments for ice time must be purchased prior to getting on the ice.  The Ice Centre Front Desk does not open until 9:00am Monday-Friday, so please plan accordingly and call ahead for any early morning drop-in ice times that are needed.

For more information on our Figure Skating program or to speak to the Director of Figure Skating, Cindy Sullivan, please call the Ice Centre at 303-469-2100.  For our Figure Skating Sessions Price Sheet and our Ice Etiquette, please CLICK HERE.

The Rocky Mountain Figure Skating Club

The Rocky Mountain Figure Skating Club is a volunteer run organization established in 1978 as a member club within the United States Figure Skating Association.  The USFSA provides guidelines and rules for testing and competitions which promote figure skating from the beginner level through Olympic competitors.  When skaters reach the point where they are ready to begin taking their USFSA tests, it is necessary for them to become a member of the USFSA.  The Rocky Mountain Figure Skating Club is the home club representing the USFSA at the Ice Centre.

Club functions include: test sessions, competitions, and assisting members in their skating progress.

For additional information please visit their website www.rmfsc.org or email the RMFSC president Brenda Bowers at president@rmfsc.org
