Full hockey equipment is required for all players in ICAHL.

Any player not wearing proper equipment will not be allowed to play.

Any equipment issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis at the Hockey Director’s or Rink Supervisor’s discretion.

Required:

  • Helmet
  • Gloves
  • Elbow Pads
  • Shin Guards
  • Hockey skates
  • Athletic Supporter / Pelvic

Optional but STRONGLY Recommended:

  • Face Mask
  • Hockey Pants (breezers)
  • Shoulder Pads

First Time Players

In addition to the above protective equipment, you will also need to purchase the following:
  • Stick – Be sure to have your stick cut to the proper height. Shorter/lighter players may be able to use a less expensive junior stick.
  • Jersey – Each team decides on and purchases their own jerseys. ICAHL rules state the color must match and that each player must have their own unique number permanently affixed to the back of the jersey. Iron on numbers are available at lthe pro shop. Jersey logos are optional.
  • Hockey Socks – Matching colors not required by ICAHL.
  • Garter or Pants – With velcro closures to hold up socks.

Used equipment may be available at some local hockey shops. In addition, check the bulletin boards around the rink for individuals selling equipment. Please feel free to contact us if you need assistance finding equipment.
